VISION SYSTEMS FOR WRAPPING MACHINES
SEA Vision systems offer a complete range of controls for overwrapping, banding, shrinking machines, starting from the codes and the variable data printed on the bundle label.
They are installed directly on the overwrapping machines and analyze in real-time 100% of the products (not statistic control) also at high speeds. One or more controls are performed simultaneously.
The system is composed by hardware (Industrial PC, cameras, light units) and software (with advanced proprietary algorithms) perfectly integrated with the Marchesini Group packaging machines.
All the computations are performed at very high speed and the result is communicated to the machine to reject automatically the defective cartons without affecting the production speed.

1D/2D code on bundle label and on cartons
Print management and control of 1D and 2D serialized or not-serialized code (for example QR code, Data Matrix, Code128, SSCC, EAN code) on bundle label. Cartons code re-reading to assure their correctness. ANSI Grading control in real-time to assure the printed quality of the code.
Variable data on bundle label
Print management and control of variable data like production date, batch number, expiry date and other on bundle label.
