With his high school diploma from the Aldini Valeriani technical school in Bologna, Carlo Veronesi obtained an apprenticeship, joining the technical staff of a leading manufacturer of automated machinery in Bologna.
His long period of employment with the company allowed him to gain extensive experience in the design of packaging machinery. Subsequently, the knowledge he had acquired there, coupled with his passion for the world of packaging prompted Carlo’s decision to set up his own company.
In the early ‘90s, he founded V2 engineering.
Production initially focused largely on cartoning machines; later, in line with market demands, the company began producing a range of machines that is still constantly updated and developed: from overwrapping machines to case packers, both standard and highly customised, all aimed at the cosmetic, pharmaceutical and food sectors.
Drawing on its vast repertoire of experience, the company continually develops new solutions to satisfy the needs of ever-developing markets. The same level of care is devoted to every stage of the process: from the initial design phase to production, testing & inspection of the machinery. Customers are constantly involved during the creation of what will become an important production tool.
The company also sets great store by after-sales support, devoting the maximum attention to individual requests. V2 engineering considers itself be a partner of its customers, rather than just a mere supplier.
In 2019, V2 engineering became part of the Marchesini Group, in a move that helps to further complete the Group’s range of machinery, in a view of its expansion into the cosmetic sector.
